The .125" aluminum roof panel installed as per Ultra4 rules. Of course, for style, we cut it to accent the cage and dimpled gusset panels.
Sparco race seats all mounted to the framework. The bent upper door bar adds additional clearance.
The door bar design on this was particularly challenging with the upper ends of the X compounded into the bend of the door bar. There are 7 individual bars that make up the side protection.
Another shot of the side protection. You can also see the Fuel Safe fuel cell tucked in the back.
Framework for the seats tied into the cage structure is so important. The body is pretty much just for show. Everything is mounted to the cage or chassis.
The big triple bypass King shocks and coilovers are class spec’d for the 4500 series. 14" of travel let the Jeep make easy work both flat our desert racing as well as the most punishing boulders.
To the right is a shot of it from King Of Hammers 2019.
