Part 1:
This car first came to us to fit the KV56 from a Titan into. The customer had acquired a one-off dry sump system built by Chris Forsberg’s home shop, MA Motorsports, but no way to mount the motor in the car. We fabricated a set of basic mounts from poly bushings and chromoly tubing.
Part 2:
It’s one sexy dry sump pan!
After the motor and trans install was done, it was time to focus on chassis. Although the customer is really only looking to use the car in grassroots style events, he wanted to go big on the cage-and we obliged.
Part 3:
He had seen the FIA mustangs we had previously built and really wanted to the same roof structure and rear inverted V you don’t see to much.
Part 4:
Anti-intrusion bars a still only recommended in many classes, but Formula D has adopted them as a requirement, so naturally, all the pro Am series are adapting the rule as well.
Part 5:
As with everything we do, quality and fitment is a priority. Like many of our cages, the bars are so close to the body we actually weld them (as classes allow).
